Meet the Creative
Prem S is a Chennai-based visual communication designer and brand strategist with over 20 years of experience turning ideas into identities that resonate, inspire, and endure.
A graduate in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, Prem's journey began with a deep-seated love for visual storytelling — through drawing, painting, and portrait photography. That instinct to find the story in every frame has shaped his entire career.
From his early days at Calai Campaigns and Kumudam, through his years as a Layout Designer at RITZ Magazine and Art Director at AXES Advertising, to leading communications at UPASANA Design Studio in Auroville — every chapter added a sharper edge to his craft.
In 2012, he founded Aambal Advertising, bringing together strategic thinking and creative execution under one roof. Aambal serves a diverse roster of clients across industries — from healthcare and education to media and technology — delivering brand identities, campaigns, and communication solutions that don't just look good, but work hard.
Prem has had the privilege of contributing to organizations as varied as the UN's FAO, ISB, Zee Tamil, and SathiyamTV, alongside a growing list of dynamic businesses across Chennai and beyond.
Driven by curiosity — in science, history, language, and human behavior — he brings an unusually wide frame of reference to every brief. For Prem, creativity isn't a department. It's the entire operation.
